Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 27, 2025

Cableteque Corp. ("Cableteque," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the proprietary and personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you access or use our software-as-a-service platform (the "Licensed Software").

This Policy operates in conjunction with our End User License Agreement (EULA) and Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MNDA). In the event of a conflict regarding the treatment of proprietary technical data (e.g., BOMs, designs), the MNDA and EULA shall control.

  1. Information We Collect

We collect data in two primary categories: (A) Data you actively provide to us (Licensee Data and Account Info), and (B) Data we collect automatically when you use the platform (Usage Data).

A. Information You Provide
  • Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect personal contact details such as your name, corporate email address, job title, and company name.

  • Licensee Data (Technical Data): This includes the specific electronic data you upload for processing, such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), CAD files, PDF drawings, and proprietary specifications.

    • Note: This data is classified as "Business Confidential" and is governed strictly by the confidentiality terms in our MNDA and Section 17 of our EULA.

B. Usage Data (Automated Collection)

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Licensed Software to provide support, fix bugs, and improve the user experience. This includes:

  • Interaction Data: Clickstream data, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and features used.

  • Session Data: We may record session telemetry to assist with troubleshooting and error reproduction.

  • Device and Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, and crash reports.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following specific purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: To process your BOMs, generate quotes, and manage your workflow as requested.

  • Customer Support: To identify specific users encountering errors and to troubleshoot issues effectively (e.g., reviewing a specific session where a crash occurred).

  • Product Improvement: To analyze usage trends and optimize our algorithms.

    • Note on AI/ML: As outlined in our EULA, we may use aggregated and anonymized Licensee Data to train and improve our machine learning models. We do not use your raw, identifiable Licensee Data to train models in a way that would expose your proprietary designs to other customers.

  • Communication: To send you administrative information, such as updates to our terms, security alerts, and support messages.

  1. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to help us operate our business. These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated to protect it.

    • Cloud Hosting Providers: (e.g., AWS/Azure) to store and process data securely.

    • Analytics and Performance Tools: (e.g., PostHog) to analyze user behavior and session performance.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Cableteque or others.

  • Business Transfers: If Cableteque is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the confidentiality protections of the MNDA.

  1. Data Retention

  • Licensee Data: We retain your uploaded technical data for the duration of your active subscription. Upon termination, you have thirty (30) days to request retrieval, after which the data may be permanently deleted.

  • Usage Data: We retain analytics and telemetry data for a reasonable period necessary to identify long-term trends and improve our product, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

  1. Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards aligned with industry standards to protect your data from unauthorized access, destruction, or alteration. This includes industry-standard inspection for malicious code and encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

  1. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access and Correction: You may access and update your account information directly within the Licensed Software.

  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal account data by contacting us, subject to our data retention obligations required for billing and legal compliance.

  • Session Recording Opt-Out: You may request that session recording be disabled for specific users or your entire organization by contacting support@cableteque.com. Note that disabling session recording may limit our ability to diagnose certain technical issues.
